Can anyone advise (from personal experience preferably) the best 2 or 3 REPUTABLE online sites from which to order scrubs as well as other ancillary items (stethoscopes, pens, etc)?

I like Tafford Uniforms they seem to run true to size and the fabric is poly/cotton so wears well, not too hot, washes nice, and durable. They do not always carry sethoscopes and scissors, try HeartWise.com for equipment.

I've bought from Allheart.com and UniformAdvantage.com and would buy from both again. Pretty good prices (especially if you catch sales) and I've been pleased with the fit and fabric of the scrubs.

I have used Allheart, they badger you with emails and their shipping is the highest, but they are reliable. I have gotten scrubs and my Littmann, which I got free engraving on.

I have had good experiences shopping from Allheart.com in the past.

I now use Uniform Advantage and Marcus. I used to use Jasco and Uniform City, and preferred them, but Jasco was taken over by, I believe, allheart and the quality of Uniform City declined when they changed their website so I don't bother with them.

Medisave.net for stethoscope. Came extremely fast the 3 times I ordered from them. Scrubs I buy in person.

Uniform Advantage is good, but be aware that some of the pants run BIG, especially the buttersoft stretchy pants. They are HUGE on me! I would order one size below what you think you need. Also, the Buttersoft scrubs are a pain to iron! They wrinkle very easily, but they are super comfortable! Just prepare yourself to iron every time. :)

I have Amazon Prime and buy most of my scrubs and other supplies from them. Shipping is free. Returns are very easy if something doesn't fit or you don't like it.
