Scrub tops and bottoms, always the same color?

Updated:   Published

Hi all,

Do you guys always wear the same color scrub top and bottom together or do you ever mix and match? Example: grey bottoms and a blue top. Wearing the same color top and bottom together just seems so monochromatic and "matchy matchy," but I don't think I've seen nurses mixing and matching before.

I do both. Grey on grey. Black on black. Purple top black bottoms. Just depends on what's clean that day

I mix mine. Usually solid colored top with black pants.

At my one job, I would mix solid colors and black pants such as teal, red, this pinkish red, blue, green, etc. At my current job, I stay in navy because we have a choice of navy or white. I have seen one aide do navy top and white bottoms but it's usually navy bottoms and navy top or white top.

And yes, for some strange reason our aides wear the same colors as our nurses. We never went with our mainstream hospital. The other hospitals in the system find it funny when I tell people that.

At my previous job we were only allowed to wear one color. At my current job we're allowed to wear white and black in addition to our scrub color so some days I will wear black scrub pants with my blue top, etc.

I've worked with nurses who mismatch their scrubs all the time. A colored or illustrated top and neutral bottoms such as black, navy blue etc

I wear grey and teal and grey and pink a lot. I like those color combos. I wear print tops with a neutral pant as well. We can wear whatever scrubs we'd like where I work.

Currently we have to wear either blue or white pants with any top we want. Come January, we have to wear all blue. Apparently, patients are more satisfied customers when nurses wear all one color. Or so we've been told.

I hsve 4 versions of the hospital crest scrubs I mix them up......does that count? First run which was huge logo in colour, second all white embroidery smaller text, third coloured logo but smaller, forth new logo. Logo On all tops and bottoms.

Or corporate top and 4th gen scrub pant because it has a better cut. Scrub top with corporate skirt or pants. Basically if I was in the office but no meetings I would blend it so that I could pitch in but still look like the manager.
