Published

Starting a thread for those who applied to Scripps new grad residency that begins in March 2024.

I agree with you! is also more annoying bc by mercy choosing our application it takes us from our other location/units selections. If they going to reject us, then just do so! instead of having us ghosted haha!

Same...

Has anyone tried contacting them. This is beyond frustrating. .

Has anyone heard back from Green?

After an incredibly tough decision, I turned down my offers for Green Surgical Acute and La Jolla DEU Med/Onc last night for the VA New Grad program. I truly hope this brings good news and joy to someone else soon! Good luck to everyone on your nursing journey!

No I have not

Got a rejection email! So at least the wait is over ?

Anyone else on like a "standby" or waitlist? The program I applied to (La Jolla DEU) gave me an offer, but says the March cohort is "tentatively" full.... so I am essentially rejected. I don't know what to do. Anyone else in the same boat here?

No not yet. What unit did you apply for?

I got the same email. They told me that I will receive an offer for the June cohort since the March one is full.

Are you going to wait for June? I don't think I want to, and am going to explore other options.

The wait is definitely not ideal, but I think I am going to wait because Scripps is my first choice hospital. Also, I'm not sure I could find another place that is equivalent to Scripps that will start significantly sooner. Good luck if you do choose to pursue other options!

for those of you who did get offers can u shout out why you think you did? (passed your NCLEX already, your experience, internal employee, you had a good interview, etc.)?? would help me out a ton

I'm an internal employee, I work as a PCA in the ICU so I got lots of experience. I think I had a good interview, too.
