I like the idea of health/hygiene items...chapstick, hand sanitizer, little pocket mirrors, pocket combs and brushes, nail files, sunglasses.

I'm leaning towards chapsticks

I will be conducting vision and hearing tests on my MS and HS students. They are too big now for stickers. Any ideas on what I can give them ? Theres only 30 students so I don't mind spending my own money.

I give my HS kids a pass back to class. Lol.

I work with special ed kids and having them to sit still for screenings is a miracle.

Ah! Bless you! I'd give chapsticks!

UPDATE: I'm starting think if its a good idea to give these kids incentives. I'm afraid that they will do something with chapstick or squishy things and may cause drama between me and the teachers. What do you think?

OK, I may be seen as the mean one, but let's think this through. The world doesn't work on a frequent incentive basis. I hate it with my own children, so it is fair for others. Giving rewards for doing what has to be done is unrealistic.

Nothing. I just call them out of class and do the screening, tell them it's state mandated, and then say "thanks for coming!"
