Good morning nurses and future nurses! I graduated my BSN way back 2006 the passed the board exam on the same year. Have worked for 8 years then transferred here in US.After months of deliberation of my CGFNS documents, I took IELTS and fortunately passed. I started studying NCLEX with 3rd edition Saunders(yes, you read it right. I bought it from second hand store) and honestly it helps me a lot to initial brush up of nursing knowledge. When I got my ATT, I enrolled NCSBN for 3-week course and got only 63% (ranging from 40% to 80% out of 1350 questions), I feel so depressed. Then I read here in allnurses about UWORLD and finished 1990 questions in 2 weeks with 52.7% then I answered the wrong ones with 59%, this test is very hard and there are contents that I really didnt know or totally forgot since nursing school. A very good friend I met here in allnurses gave me notes on KAPLAN 1-7 Qtrainers(for some reason Kaplan is so much easier than Uworld) with 71% and Saunders easier too ranging 60-85%. The question is, after answering 4000 questions, Does the scores really matters? Or it really predicts who will pass or not? Is this enough for me? :(
