First time student in my immediate family, my aunt is a RN however things have changed since then and I’m extremely lost. All the counselors are on break so here I am. I live in Los Angeles and I’m applying soon. Every school is asking for science gpa which I know includes Microbiology, Anatomy and physiology which I’ve already completed. I was wondering what other science classes count. I’ve seen some accept Stats but most schools don’t mention what they count. So I was wondering if any other California’s new so I can calculate my gpa, much appreciated thank!

I would assume it entails all science related coursework.  I take it you are in HS and applying for a college program?  What courses did you take?

I’m in college finished all my prereqs I’ve done Micro, Physio, Anatomy, and Chem. I saw one school mention they include stats(which I’ve done) with the science courses and I’ve even seen 2 school add English to the science. I was confused on what exactly schools look at for science since the overall majority point at Anatomy, Physio, and Micro for science prereqs

As mentioned many times on this site, each school makes their own policy and these policies can even change from one year to the next. I looked at programs that included general psych, math, and even nutrition for prerequisites with different courses counted in the GPA used for admission decisions. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of what is needed for each program that you plan to apply to for admission.  Time to consult the program online info, attend an info session, or call and speak with a nursing advisor.

Depends on the school you're applying to. I suggest looking it up on the school website or getting in contact with an admissions counselor. The school I want to attend only counts Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology and Chemistry for their science prereq GPA.
