Located in Edmond, Oklahoma, the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) was founded in 1890 and is a public university with approximately 14,000 students. • Acceptance/Admission Rate: On average, 90 students are admitted to the nursing program each Spring and fall semester. While the minimum GPA for admission is 2.5, the average GPA of accepted students is typically higher.

Q: What are the requirements for the Online MS Nursing program?

To apply for the Online MS Nursing program, you must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum overall GPA of 3.00, or a 3.00 GPA for the last 60 hours attempted.
• A BSN from an institution accredited by a Department of Education-approved nursing agency or its equivalent.

Q: I currently do not have a valid license to practice in Oklahoma. Can I submit my application?

Yes, you can submit your application. However, preference will be given to individuals with a current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oklahoma. Conditional admission may be considered for those in the process of obtaining licensure.
