Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences, formerly known as Ameritech College is Located in 1979 in Draper, Utah has evolved significantly since its inception in 1979. Originally established as the American Institute of Medical Dental Technology, the institution launched its first nursing program in 2006, leading to a name change to Ameritech College. By 2015, it further refined its identity to Ameritech College of Healthcare, highlighting its focus on nursing and health sciences. The pivotal moment came in 2022 when it achieved NWCCU accreditation and adopted the name Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences. Today, the institution stands as one of Utah's most prominent nursing and occupational therapy assistant schools, offering a range of undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Hands-On Learning Experience
The nursing programs are designed to provide students with a strong academic foundation and practical experience. Students will have the opportunity to apply their online learning in real-world clinical settings with the help of our state-of-the-art Joyce Johnson Center of Simulation.
The Nursing School facilities are equipped with high-fidelity robotic patient mannequins, life-like synthetic cadavers, and realistic clinical environments to simulate various medical scenarios. Students will gain valuable technical skills through hands-on, experiential learning in a safe and controlled clinical atmosphere.
Mode of Learning
ASN/ADN Program: This hybrid program combines online lectures with in-person, hands-on training in labs, simulations, and clinical settings. It enables students to become registered nurses in just 20 months, with no prerequisites required.
BSN Program: Offers a flexible learning format with online lectures and in-person clinical training over three years. An accelerated BSN option is available for those with a non-nursing bachelor's degree, allowing completion in just 20 months.
RN to BSN Program: Delivered primarily online with asynchronous courses, allowing students to complete clinical experiences in their home community. This program can be finished in as little as four semesters, depending on previous coursework, with no prerequisites beyond holding an active and unencumbered RN license.
Direct Path MSN Programs: Provides a streamlined route to RN licensure and both BSN and MSN degrees within 8-9 semesters for students with a non-nursing bachelor's degree. The program requires 95 credit hours and 518 clinical hours, offered in a hybrid format that includes online coursework, flexible pacing, live lectures, and one-on-one tutoring. Labs, simulations, and case studies are available in the Nursing Simulation Center and online.
Online MSN Program: A fully online program designed for working nurses, completed in just three semesters with 32 credit hours and 270 clinical hours required for graduation.
