    My Experience

BSN, the program was a little disorganized at the beginning but improved with time. The best thing was I was able to start as a freshman and it was a 4 year nursing program. Class size was about 100 at the time and included nursing classes all 4 years. Nice sim lab and good clinical placements. Did not help with job placement at graduation. Passed NCLEX on first try, all exams were NCLEX style questions. For Master's program all core classes were combined with all graduate nursing programs- sometimes this was beneficial, sometimes not. Core classes became quite large and not personalized- simply group projects with the majority of students commuting. Specialized classes were detailed, in depth, small and personalized.

    About The Staff

Professors were helpful- at times had not practiced in acute care currently
TAs- very helpful and supportive, much more involved in current care practices
Financial aid was not available to be as an undergraduate, graduate program had many good scholarships. Graduate school they placed me in 99% of clinicals which is very hard to come by these days!!

    Things To Know

Very happy with my education here, hospital is top rate and provides excellent clinical placements.
