Frankfort, Kentucky is the home of Kentucky State University; a public university founded in 1886 and was only the second state-supported institution of higher learning in Kentucky. The School of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.

    My Experience

I enjoyed my time as a student at KSU. The environment is one of a small university with small class sizes. The campus is small and easy to navigate. There is a wonderful athletic center with large swimming pool. Student center with cafeteria. Frankfort is a wonderful small town with a nice downtown full of cute shops, bookstores, coffee shops, large library. Kentucky History Museum is neat.

    About The Staff

Nursing school staff were great. I attended 13 years ago however, so I'm sure there have been many changes. However, I would still recommend the school to anyone in the area who is considering nursing.
