    My Experience

I was a little weary about Capella but I have had a great experience with them. I feel like I'm getting a good education. I'm on my last term. The software is user- friendly but they still need to work out some kinks. I just wish the cost wasn't so high.

    About The Staff

The staff were supportive and answered questions promptly. They also give constructive comments on papers that made me a better writer.

    My Experience

Everything Is done online, you have a coach that works with you throughout the program. Courses consist of papers and power points only, no clinical, no discussions, no group projects. Each course has a tutor and professor. Most courses were four assignments (papers/power points), some were longer, the longest being six. There are opportunities to ask your tutor questions. After you submit a paper the professor grades it, if you want to improve your grade you have two more opportunities to re-submit. They outline exactly what content they want you to cover, although sometimes it was a little unclear exactly what they are asking, which is where the tutors come in.

    About The Staff

My coach was very attentive and quick to respond to my emails, usually within an hour during work hours. The tutors were hit or miss, some responded quick, some not at all, I did bring this to the schools attention, hopefully this area will improve. The professors were clear in their remarks for the most part and graded fairly.

    Things To Know

I finished the program in 11 months working part-time. I had the 11 nursing courses and one humanities course to complete. I worked about 8-15 hours a week on course work. I was able to finish one paper a week on average.
