I graduated top of my class....7 years ago. Never took the NCLEX, for reasons to personal to discuss here. Now I would like to take the test and become a nurse, but I don`t know where to start. Seems I don`t remember much. I have all my school notes and new editions of books we used. What to do and where to start?
Any suggestions you may have for me would be greatly appreciated.

I would first contact or look on your state board's website to make sure you are still eligible to sit for the NCLEX. I believe many states have certain time limits in which you must take the test. Good luck to you!
I allready asked them - there is no time limit in my state.

If it were me, I'd consider an RN refresher course. A lot has changed in 7 yrs. you could also go over all your notes and refresh yourself.
Best of luck. So glad you are now ready to take the NCLEX and join the world of nursing.

Purchase an NCLEX-PN Comprehensive Review book, practice questions like crazy and take a review course. If there is an LPN or RN refresher course in your area, that would also be a good idea. Good luck!
