So I got two parents who are upset with me: The 1st one is that one who gave me issues in that meeting and now another one, who is an aunt, who cussed me out on the phone right now. I obviously hung up on her because I don't let anyone tell me things like that.

I'm not upset, but I find it funny because they all get mad because I'm not a nurse and that I said I'm a nurse and it's like, I didn't say I was one, I said I was a Medical Assistant or a medical aide.

One of them even said, they has told her sister to get her kids out of our school because we have no nurse. And it's like, oh well. *shrugs*

It's like, what do I do? Nothing, I'm doing my job.

I don't know why they are mad at you, they need to bring that up to the school board or whatever governing body runs your school (it's charter, right?)

Yeah, basically. I mean I'm doing my job and plus I'm not really sure what they were mad about to begin with. I did my protocols and I informed family, and someone came to get him.

As for the nurse comment, I'm not sure where she got that from. I always say I'm the MA or medical aide, so not sure why she's bringing that up. There's nothing she can do about us being MAs, all of us in our school district are MAs or LVNs, we have an NP above us.

So she'll pull her kid from your school, you'll be free of her nonsense and then she will be in a new school, also with no nurse, LOL.

Exactly, don't know why they think that will make me sad or plead them to stay. Nah, take your kids. Bye!

We have this one family that has been here for four years. Every single year, at least two times, they get angry or upset about something we did or did not do and threaten to pull their kids. We so badly wish we could just be like "Bye Felicia"! Seriously, there are 400 kids on the waiting list for our school. Take your kid and your annoying selves and leave.

Well I almost threw down with a parent just now. I just called the nurse to ask a question about his medication. She told the mother and the mother was upset and came here, asking if I was trying to start something. I told her I was not, I'm just trying to make sure the orders are correct and was asking for advice.

Thankfully the APs were backing me up but god damn... geez.

*Squeezing stress ball so hard*
