Hi all! Just wondering how much down time you guys have?
I have a good amount in between illnesses, flu shots and such.
Right now my main focus is filing since all my kiddos are up to date with immunizations.
Time to get CEU's done on my behalf :)

Anyone who is posting on here during school hours has down time.
Mine is very sporadic and short 10 minutes chunks here and there. Posting here during that time keeps me sane.
And sure enough, every single time I am in the middle of a starting a major project (i.e. immunization updating), I suddenly get slammed with visits. I have learned to save often.

This is a running joke between my health aide and I. I will think of a small project to start on and as soon as I have had enough of a lull to set it up, I get inundated and those papers stay where they are (or get covered by others coming in) until the day is over!

I've had a few slow days lately. I think it's because I was so understaffed for a large chunk of last year that I learned to accomplish things at lightening speed and became incredibly organized and efficient. I actually cleaned every surface today: tables, doorknobs, light switches, and even the windows mostly to look busy because admin is always peaking in. I enjoy these moments because I'm sure something will happen soon to make me busy. And after doing the job of two nurses for about 1/4 of the year last year, I deserve a little down time!
