I got my ATT and I schedule my exam for the FIRST time for March 4. I am so nervous. I graduated in Dec 2012. I have been studying ATI since 17 of Dec and finished it. I got the green light from my VATI instructor to take the test however I didn't feel ready. I like ATI but I feel as though the question aren't higher level more like knowledge based. So I took Kaplan Live online it started in January 14 I have been doing it since. My scores are so far..
Diagnostic Test 61.1 %
Q1: 68%
Q2: 65%
Q3: 55%
Q4: 62%
Q5: 63%
Q6 and 7 I have not done as of yet. I have answered so far 25% of my QBank with a overall percentage of 60%. I know I have more to go but I am just so scared. I don't know if I am ready to take it. I keep feeling as though I need to learn more. Lastly I am getting restless I am tired of studying lol but I don't want to take it as of yet..if this makes any sense.I would love to hear feedback from you all. Thanks :) * Please no negative comments.

From what I've heard those are good Kaplan scores. Don't be so hard on yourself you know way more than you think. I honestly don't think you can ever really feel ready for NCLEX (well maybe that's just me lol) Good Luck & I'll keep you in my prayers

It's true, most people don't feel ready. At least I didn't anyway. We did ATI all thru school and 2weeks after graduation we did an ATI live review. By that time I was sick of ATI so I borrowed a friend's Saunders NCLEX RN CD and book. I also did NCLEX 3500 online. I did questions from those almost every day for 2 weeks and the day before my exam I did nothing but relax and pray. I took mine Monday and got my results today and I passed. But seriously, I didn't think I was ready and even contemplated about rescheduling for a later date because I felt unprepared. So, yeah, it is normal to feel that way! :)
Good luck! Believe in yourself and you will do fine.
Thank you guys for the encouragement. I am trying to keep on and just when my date approaches take it. I need to just believe in myself more.

Yes those Kaplan scores are good! I did Hurst and Kaplan. I took my exam 1/29 and shut off at 75 questions and passed! Honestly, the Kaplan tests and questions are WAY more difficult than the NCLEX. And no, you will never feel prepared enough. I'm not sure if it's possible to not be nervous going in to take the test. lol!
Just breathe, take your time, and try to imagine it as just another nursing test. That is what I did and it helped me, although my heart rate didn't slow until probably question 25. I really felt most prepared using the Kaplan practice tests and quizzes. You'll do great!!!
Thanks for the encouragement. Once I do Q trainer 6&7 and 65% of Qbank will update you all. I do 100 questions of Qbank daily. Congrats on passing the Nclex on 1/29. I have bad test anxiety so I have to definitely take my meds and keep myself calm if not I will be in BIG trouble.
