Scared To Death - Took NCLEX - RN Today

Hey guys -

Ok...I need some comfort, because I am freaking!! I took the Nclex today, and after feeling like I knew nothing...my computer stopped at question number 99!!!! Everyone that I have talked to said that 75 seemed to be the magic number!! Iam so freaking!! One of my friends said to look at it this way....you didn't do that awful or the computer would of shut off at 75...maybe you just needed a few more answers to prove yourself!! Please tell me your experience. i had numberous priority questions...and no med math questions at all...also alot of drug questions that I have never heard of before!!

Also, I took it in VA....how soon should I get the results!! Please help me thru this , I am really finding it hard to keep it together!!!

The worst is over so calm down, relax. Your chances are high that you passed. The averages say that 85% pass on their first try. At worst your chances are 50/50. So find some distractions until you find out your results. The website of your Board should indicate whether your state participates in quick results. For a fee, you could find out 48 hrs after testing. Check the web site or perhaps somone from your state can provide that info. Good luck.

Try to relax, I have not seen many testers that think they passed it. I was in your shoes over the weekend. I tested on Friday, the computer gave me 205 questions. I freaked out until Sunday when my results appeared and said I had passed.

Update!! Hey guys i passed with my 99 questions...I found out in 24 hours, and just didn't have time to post yesterday!! In VA we call the board of nursing 24 hours later and your number is posted!
