Get both. We can't predict which will be "better" for you. You could be prepared enough already using neither of them. You could use both, and still walk away not prepared sufficiently. You could be prepared, but still fail the test. That happens. You just have to decide how you are going to prepare and do your best with what you have. Good luck.

I have the Saunders and I'm currently using it for nursing school. It's well written, but then again I don't have anything to compare it to, since I heard Saunders is the best, I just wen with that one. Though I do have the Hurst Pathophysiology Review and I like how that one is written as well. Buy both and let us know which one you like better.

I liked Hurst. I was always told you have to read it, write it and hear it to memorize something and hurst makes you do all three.
I also used Saunders Q&A book for questions. I felt they were written a lot like the NCLEX.

I used both, but found Saunders more complete. Hurst had great test taking tips as well as good charts to memorize.
thank you all for your replies. i bought the saunders book and just started reading it. i have the hurst book also so i will look at that too. if i feel i need more, i will order the hurst online. thanks again :)
