Hey everyone -

Just wondering if anyone is waiting to here about acceptance to Santa Monica College's nursing program.

I got put on the wait list mid-October this past year and I'm hoping to get in this coming Spring. I guess we find out about 6 months before, unless people don't accept or don't pass the NLN. I was reading some threads and heard some people got in in as little as two semesters (applying in october and getting in the following fall or applying in march and getting in the following spring). So I guess it is POSSIBLE that I might get asked last minute to start THIS fall which would be crazy. Probably won't happen, I'm shooting for Spring ;)

I got invited to take the NLN entrance exam, which I took last week and passed :) So I'm just waiting to hear back now.

Dear Zar, congrats ! you passed the test. You will be in SMC nursing school soon! :D

so, how was the test Zar? Did you take Drug Calculation at SMC?

I haven't taken any of the co-reqs yet. Actually, I'm still waiting to hear back from CSULB's nursing program, because I interviewed there a couple weeks ago so there is a possibility of that. :-) I'll find out in a couple weeks!
