So people are claiming Sandra Bland is dead in her mug shot. I haven't had many experiences with that many dead people (family or work) but that sounds like the dumbest thing ever. Not only would it be illegal but how? I wanted to get nurses take on the picture & what everyone thinks.

Social media speculates whether Bland is dead in mugshot

She doesn't look dead to me....hmmm.

They have her on a voicemail to a family member a day or so after she was locked up.

Plus her mouth is shut too tight

Maybe she died & came back to life to talk to her family. Lol!

Now I believe in my own "conspiracy theories" (I'll admit) but that woman does not look dead.....at all. How did this even start??

And I look at inmates of my local jail to see if it's anyone I know....I guess every time a background or outfit is different I can say they are dead? Ridiculous.

You need to watch the news a bit more. Unless you are joking.
I don't watch television or the news anymore, so I had to conduct a Google search to discover who Sandra Bland was. Now that I've done my search, I remember hearing about this case a week and a half ago.

I don't at home either. But my pts all watch the news at their homes, so these days, I'm actually UTD on what goes on throughout the country. Donald Trump gives me a good laugh.

Really?

Yes, really

I don't watch the news, and I haven't been on Facebook for nearly two years (where I used to learn about most of my current events stuff).

My husband's job every night as we're lying in bed is to give me a recap of everything I need to know about what's going on in the world so I'm not woefully ignorant and don't say embarrassing things like "Who's Sandra Bland" but he's been out of town this past week for work.

Ok, part of my job is to pronounce people when they die. I've seen a lot of dead people.

She's not dead.

I had to google also. I can't keep up with every single controversy.

I was linked to the Twitter page where (I believe) the whole "she's dead in her mugshot" thing started. I was annoyed reading the comments because of how the whole thing frenzied out. It's like one person planted the seed and everyone else ran with it and found more and more "evidence" which made no sense. They were saying the way her hair falls and the slant of her shoulder proves she couldn't possibly be standing up :/

Not to be morbid but...wouldn't her eyes be glazed over or otherwise be affected if she has in fact already died? Bruises/contusions or other marks from the hanging? I think the qualities of the mugshot can be simply blamed on poor artificial lighting.

I just don't see what the point of her being dead in the picture would be... She was in jail a couple days before she died. I don't get how that even makes logical sense.

People are saying that she was "killed" before she went to jail, they got her dressed out & then laid her on the floor to take the mug shot.

I don't get how people are coming to that conclusion because she called family & friends from the jail.

That's part of my job too - she is not dead.

Why do people do this?

(Klone - I didn't know about her until a couple of days ago. I don't follow the tv media either).
