Yep, it's mandatory that everyone attend the walk-through. I hope the med terminology is just matching the words with the definitions.

I think the med term stuff is going to be about what does this root mean, what does this suffix mean, etc. Easy peasy lemon squeazy.

19. 41.5/2.2=18.9x40=756mg/day 40 is max dosage for child and question says severe.

20. daily dosage of 756mg and divide by 3 dosages (every 8 hours=3 dosages)...it comes to 252 mg but answer

in book says 250 mg. That all I could figure out...close enough! I am going to ask about that one

on Monday unless someone knows!

29. change # 28 to grams which would give you 18-27 grams then divide by 6 because every 4 hours would be 6

times daily.....which gives you 3-4.5g/dose.

Hope this helps! It is confusing as hell!

Okay, I am so very very late to the party on this one, but I figured out why #20 is the answer that it is.

If you'll remember reading in the chapter it says that differences of 6-10 mg in higher dosages is insignificant (not really insignificant but you get my meaning) than if it was something like 5 mg and there was a 6-10 mg difference.

The book is saying to just give the child the recommended dosage since what you come up with is 2 mg over what is recommended. Kind of confusing to read I know, but that's all it's doing.

Okay...I think I get it. You give the recommended dose if it is a little bit over. Right???? Thanks for the clarification. I am not looking foward to this math test. It would be great if they would leave off chapter 15 questions!

Exactly. They said it would be easier in that situation to just go with the easier measure since the difference is so small. It would be nice if there wasn't anything from ch. 15 to worry about.

So we just need to bring the penlight and stethoscope tomorrow? I have all my supplies in my car to be on the safe side. I also have my sheet for the walk thru

Well, since all we're doing is Neuro, I think you'll be safe with just the penlight and stethoscope. Who knows with that woman though.

Oh yeah, I think it's *********. That should be a refreshing change of pace.

Exam 2 Blueprint is now active. Let the real sweating commence!

Some surprises on here. Like for instance, where the fridgerator is 7, 8, and 9? I know they all want us to fail, but why is it required right now when it's not even on the flipping exam?

11 questions from med term and the typical 10 from math.

This thing is perplexing as anything. Oh, and there's only 13 chapters, not the 17 that we've been getting.
