San Antonio Pay Rates?

I live in the San Antonio area and will be starting nursing school fall '07. Just curious-what are the pay rates for nurses in San Antonio? In particular, the Methodist Healthcare System.

Hi there jenny. I am getting ready to move to San Antonio and did research before interviewing. Methodist offers about 18/hour. Not sure about differentials. They do not hire new grads on the ICU/L&D but do have internships in those areas for new grads. Christus is 18/hours with decent differentials and hire anywhere. University is 19/hour with good differentials also. Not sure about Baptist as I could never get a hold of their nurse recruiter. Fell free to let me know if there are any other questions you can have that I might be able to answer.

Medchick is right on. Those were about the same rates I was told as well. I am graduating fomr UTHSCSA in December and want to work @ Methodist Children's.
