San Antonio College (SAC) Spring 2018

Hey guys! Just throwing the bait out there for anyone who's planning on applying (lol next summer) to the SAC traditional spring 2018 program!

I'm a transfer from AustinCC and I took Anatomy the first time my first year of college (2016-2017 will be my third - diverted for a year to business) and got a C so now I'm going to be retaking it as A&P I this fall along with Chem I, PSYC 2314 and Ethics. Then in the spring all I'll have left for prereqs will be Micro and A&P II.

Can't wait to meet some of y'all :D

I'm applying! But it's my second choice school. My first choice is UT Health Science Center.

I'm taking pre-req's at SAC though - this fall I'm in A&P I, Statistics, Speech and Nutrition (Northeast Lakeview campus). Spring will be Microbiology, A&P II, Chem II and Government.

I will be graduating with associates of pre-nursing from Alamo colleges (home campus is northwest vista) summer '17, so I will be applying for spring 18 as well. My choice school is UTHSC since it offers the BSN option, however I will also be applying to sac. This semester I'm taking chem 1305, Chem 1105, a&p 1 and possibly stats (online as flex 2, but want to see how i do with the Chem and book load first). Spring I will be taking nutrition, microbiology, a&p 2 and possibly college algebra- if not I'll take that during summer.

Im pretty nervous for this Semester.

I'm also applying for spring 2018 while applying to UIW and UTHSCSA. Do y'all know when there suppose to let us know about acceptance letters?

Looking at a thread from Fall 2017, their notification took about three months from the deadline. So I don't think we'll be hearing any time soon.

I had called a little while ago and they said we should know something mid to late October.

Teas: 90

GPA: 3.54 or 3.88 depending on who they count my grades. :/

I called a couple days ago and they told me mid October but the recent allnurses terms showed sometime in mid November. My gpa is a 3.72. Teas 77

I am planning on applying! When is the deadline? Does anyone know if the science courses expire?

The deadline already past for the spring entry and I believe the classes expire after 5 years but I would call them and ask to confirm.

The deadline for Spring 2018 was Aug. 31st. The next application period begins Nov. 15th I think? I was told science classes expire after 10 years.
