San Antonio College Entry Fall 2017

Published

Hey,

I'm planning on applying this December for SAC's Fall 2017 RN program. Anyone else? Any advice?

Thanks

Hey!

I applied for the spring 2017. If I don't get in then I'll be applying for the fall. I already registered to take some pre reqs over just in case

Do you know anyone else who has gotten in?

No not at the moment. It's nerve wrecking waiting for 2 months to see if I'm in or not.

Did you call to confirm that your application went through? Or did you show up in person?

No, I emailed the advisor. I think her name is Rebecca Watts.

What were your TEAS scores like? I'm currently at a 4.0 for everything and am wondering if that's good enough. I figure there's a crapload of people applying because of the tuition factor.

I applied for Fall 2017, I hate to wait until April to hear back lol

Hey guys!

I applied for Fall '17 as well. I am also worrying how I measure up to other applicants. I have a 4.0, all pre-reqs including mandatory (A&Ps, Micro) and otherwise (Psyc's, comps) are complete other than I am taking ethics right now. I scored A's first time, so no repeat courses-as I think they look at that as well. I scored in the 85th percentile on the TEAS. I already have an associate's degree. I called and asked them what is the average mean they accept and the lady told me "anything over a 10." I know it is all contingent upon who we are sized up against for fall entry apps though.

I have no work experience that falls in line with the criteria on the points sheet however--and that is what has me worried. Deadline was 2/15 and I have been stalking my email and mail multiple times a day!! I know it's way too early to hear something though...it's going to be a long next couple of months.

BTW...do they mail (via postal) or email acceptance letters?

Good luck to everyone, hopefully we will all be classmates! Worst case, Baptist has a very late deadline for Fall (I think it might be in May sometime)--so I plan to apply there around April if I haven't heard anything from SAC.

I have similar scores. I think there are a bunch applying all the time because of the job market... we'll see..

Were you accepted for Spring 2017? If so, were they going by the point system yet? How many points were you at (if you don't mind my asking).

I was told they email your personal email first, and then all other communication is through your ACES portal/email. Have you heard anything yet?
