So, the applications are due today (September 1st) for summer admission to ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. How does everyone feel about their application?? :up: :down: What campus did you apply to?

Thank you for the info orangepeels. Much luck to you getting off of the wait list and into the program. It sounds like you have a good chance....

So bummed that I am not even on the waitlist....Guess I will start my next application. Too bad though because it is due on March 1st and that leaves me little time to change anything, as apparently mine was not what they are looking for. Any suggestions from the people who got in, or wait listed on how they structured their writing samples or anything else would be greatly appreciated. Sad that they had a hard time filling all the locations and they still don't want me. I guess there is always the hope of getting into San Mateo which was my last choice, but it sounds like my app just wasn't what they had in mind....

so bummed.

I'm hoping there's still a chance that we could get in even though it's starting to seem more unlikely with each passing day.

I called E but was only able to leave a message so I'm hoping I will hear back from her soon.

I just got an email of Wait list notification for Oakland cohort. On the waitlist, I am 10/55. I think that means I have a decent shot if getting in....

I feel so much better but I feel so much better... Let the waiting continue. Man, what a ride!

Any of my other buddies gotten the email yet?

Tamo!!!! I know someone who was in the 20s on the wait list and she go it. Lots of people have trouble getting financing and also I would be willing to bet that since they took so long to get back to people that might be a game-changer as well. I really hope we all get in.

And too those who are still waiting, don't give up. you might get into san mateo cohort....

I will keep you all posted about my wait list status. Congrats to you all! It has been a lot of hard work to even get to this point.
