Salary Advise for RN in Medical Home (Not home health)

What can I expect to make as an RN for Medical Home?

I have a BSN, work in critical care for 3 years as staff, and work as relief supervisor.

Since Medical Home would be a pilot project, I will be involve in the planning process, writing policies, etc... until implementation.

In my experience, an employer who is looking for a nurse to write policy and procedure will likely be searching for a person who has the education and the experience to accomplish those tasks with little supervision or direction. In most cases they will want a BSN unless the candidate can impress them with a knowledge base and skill set supercedes the degree. "Back in the day" it was much more common for exceptional nurses to hold highly responsible positions without BS or MS degrees...today it is more commonly accepted (probably rightly so) that the BSN prepared nurse is better able to navigate the duties of a professional nurse in a managerial, educational, or administrative role. Certainly there are exceptions to this...but it is harder and harder for an ADN to compete with a BSN for those positions.
