Hey im about to start my pre-requisites this spring. Now my plan is to go the 2yr route and get my ADN and then while im working go for my BSN. Then hopefully go back to school to become a CRNA. Now my question is how much does an ADN nurse make straight out of school in nyc? Also i have been hearing that ADN nurses are having a difficult time finding jobs now, is that true? And has anyone gone to agencies for employment. If so how much do they pay

New grad ADNs are having a very hard time finding work nowadays. I'm one of them. All I see is minimum experience of so and so years required. It's pretty frustrating. This is the wrong time to graduate from nursing school.

It'll happen sooner or later. My cousin in-law just got a job only a month after passing her boards. She has no experience at all! I'm surprised and hopeful that it'll be like that when I graduate. Good luck to you all!
