Sac States nursing program bsn

Im currently a los rios student doing my pre-reqs in order to apply to sac states bsn program. I heard from my counselor and own research that it is a very impacted school. Therefore, it is very hard to get into. I was wondering what I can do to make sure I have a better chance of getting in if i apply? I live in Sacramento and cannot go out of the area for college so sac state is the only university near by. I know you have to have a high GPA and get a good score on the Teas exam. But, is there any useful tips I could go by to know im going in the right direction.
