Rutgers ABSN fall 2015

I applied to both Newark and New Brunswick Rutgers ABSN fall 2015 and I'm a little worried because NursingCAS bumped my GPA down. However, I am still in the process of taking courses and can bump my GPA back up. I am hoping Rutgers does not review me till my next set of grades are in.

Does anyone else have the same issue?

Also, has anyone who applied heard anything from them yet?

I'm in the middle of applying for the Newark campus but for the transcript part did you put your whole transcript for all the courses you took or just the pretend

Yeah I figured but the cas says depending on the school you either have to put the pre-reqs only or the whole transcript. Tried emailing Rutgers of which one to put but no response yet

I'm a former rutgers absn student. But when I applied I had to input all my transcript information. For every college/university I went to, every semester and of course my prereq and whatever school that was from.

Oh okay thank you! Do you know if it's rolling admission? And if there is an interview involved?

When I applied, there was no interview. I don't know if it has changed now though since the "official" merger. Also, if you decide not to attend/accept enrollment for the semester you originally applied for (example: you applied and got accepted for spring semester but then you decide you actually want to do fall) then we had to reapply for that semester.

But, if you start the semester and need to take a leave of absence for whichever reason, they did not make us reapply to the program when we were ready to come back.

I also applied for Fall 2015, haven't heard much since submitting my app but at the Information Session in February they told us we wouldn't have a decision until late June. I put in my whole transcript on CAS and had official transcripts sent as well. Hope this might help! I can't wait to hear back I'm nervous!

Thank you! I wasn't sure if they review before the application is due or not. Its unfortunate that they don't make a decision till June because I applied to other schools that I should be hearing back from soon and if I get in, I would have to make a decision soon. Rutgers is my first choice, so I don't want to commit to another school until I hear back from them. Not sure what I will do if I get into other schools.

Hi everyone! I also applied for the ABSN for the fall semester. I am going to be taking Nutrition and Chemistry this summer. Does anyone know what exact Chemistry class is required? Is any 4 credit chemistry sufficient? Or does it have to be General Chemistry II? Thank you.
