I'm interested in working in a true rural hospital... small, serving a widespread area, possibility of floating a lot. Anyone know of any in Oregon? I'm originally from Portland, and I know some of the areas I thought of as "rural" aren't as rural as they used to be (i.e. Canby, Banks)--or so I've heard.
I'd prefer the Western half of Oregon. The coast would be fine, too.
Thanks for any help you can give!

Prineville has a great regional hospital, but it's more central oregon.

If you go to the Oregon state board of nursing web site they have an entire section on rural hospitals with county and city listings. If you are really interested in rural you should also check out the IHS (Indian health services) they have many rural situations that need people with some nice federal benefits :)
Thanks so much! I'm definitely interested in IHS.
