Hello! this is my first time using this site but I did read some topics that I found very helpful and can possibly can answer some questions I have about nursing. I applied to sheridan, mohawk and george brown for the rpn program in january 2015 and so far I got into sheridan. I am very excited and I feel so blessed that I finally got an offer considering it took 2 yrs for me to get to this point but my heart is set on georgebrown.. I have done pre health there and heard that they are one of the best schools for nursing in the gta... has anyone gotten any offers from georgebrown yet? and has anyone gone to sheridan? if so how was the program overall?

Can you please share your average and the level you took. I'm wait listed @ George Brown for Jan start and my marks are Eng:81%, Math:93%, Bio:86% and Chem:92% all at college level. I really need a spot in the Practical Nursing program. Please share
I've no idea about the average. I graduated high school ten years ago so I have a tough time remembering. They would have seen English OAC (91% I think?), grade 11 and 12 bio and chem (probably somewhere in the 70's or 80's), and calculus from first year university (92% if memory serves). I obviously have no idea how they select their students but I recall an emphasis on English with university programs and that's where my strengths lie academically. I'd keep checking your status - your grades seem great. I saw someone else on this forum who was previously wait listed received an offer some time in November. I'm going to wager the selection goes beyond grades though.
