My daughter ended up with a severe case of rotavirus and was in the hospital since last Thursday and got out over the weekend and my husband and I have it now and we have never been so sick in my life. We have to go back to the doctor tomorrow. Anyways, we are suppose to go to Europe in 2 weeks and I don't know if we should go now. The last thing I want to do is have her sick again. The month before she had croup and really bad. What do you all think? I am not looking for medical advice but being a mom how bad can this get and how long does it take one to get better?

So sorry you've been ill............I'm getting over the flu myself, and it's a heck of a way to spend even a moment of a glorious summer!

However, the person qualified to answer this question is, of course, your personal physician. He or she alone knows the particulars of your case and is the best one to advise you when you may expect a full recovery from your illness.

Good luck to all of you.
