Rotating shifts on the Eastern Shore

Hi - I am relocating to the Eastern Shore from the Northeast. Pretty much every job I see (for floor nursing) is a rotating shift. I'm a bit apprehensive about this as I've always been on day shift and at my age am just not sure how well I'll be able to adapt. So, two questions: 1) does anyone know what the rotation is for the University of Md hospitals, particularly Shore Memorial in Easton? Is it a full changeover from 7a-7p or something less drastic, and how often do they switch? and 2) Is this basically a Mid-Atlantic thing? We don't have rotating shifts really anywhere in my state, and I've also worked in the South and it was straight day/night there too. Just curious. Thanks.
