Hi,

You can check under the tab at the top of this page "Jobs & Resumes", then look under "Job Seeker" title (I think it's a little to the right of the page), under this section you'll see a link that says "nursing salary wizard."

I've found this link to be pretty accurate. The nursing salaries in Texas are pretty good in comparison to the cost of living.

Hope things work out for you :)

I believe new grads start at about 20.50, a few yrs experience will get you in the 22. range. >10yrs will get you base pay about 26-30.

That's my understanding, anyway. At least, in my part of texas.

thank you everyone... wow!! salary was higher than i expected... thank you for the information...

You may also want to check salary.com if you haven't done so. They can give you a good "ballpark" estimate based on your area of nursing. They also give percentiles on what a nurse earns in your area, too. Not sure how accurate it is though. I think that the pay shown on salary.com for CNA's is off for this part of the country. Not sure about nursing though.

Depends on experience. When in El Paso, I made between $25-26 with benefits.
