RN refresher course?

Hello everyone! My nam I'd Donna and I came across this forum while googling RN refresher courses. I am in Southern CA-Ventura County area. I know Azusa Pacific offers one but that's close to 2 hours from me and Grossmont is out of the question-way to far.

Any suggestions? I'd like to not spend a fortune of course but definitely need clinical hours and it sounds like I'd have to do an iv course too-why isn't that part of the courses?! Anyway, thank you in advance!

Sorry, I live on the east coast, so not able to really help. Have you contacted your state BON to ask where RN refresher courses are located? Most of the ones offered around here are associated with the community colleges. Good Luck!!

I too believe you ought to contact the State Board. If they are requiring the courses then they should have information. They will not want you to take courses that do not meet their expectations and you don't want to waste your money on the wrong thing!
