Hi!
I've been away from nursing for about six years, and I need some books to refresh my memory before I start working again. What do you guys recommend? I'd especially like a good skills book.
Thanks for your help! :)

I too am going back into nursing part-time after being away 7 years.
I just ordered two books from Amazon.com that looked really helpful. They are "Rnotes: Nurse's Clinical Pocket guide" and "Mosby's Nursing Skills Quick Cards"
I can't say how helpful they are because I don't have them yet, but I can let you know.
Good luck to you!!
Hi Kristy!
Thank you for your reply! I wish you the best. I have been home with my kids for the last 6 years, which has been wonderful, but I'm worried if I wait too long it will be hard to get back into it. I'm still not sure if I can do it at this point, as my little one is just 17 mos, but I'm considering it. I love Amazon, since you can read all the reviews, etc. I'll check it out and let you know what I find there. Let me know what you think of yours. :)
