RN Insurance info

Hi everyone! Im a new RN but ive working as an LVN for a while (SNF,Ambulatory etc). I need an advice about . Do i need to purchase it now while looking for an RN job. I used to have one from NSO (LVN) should i just get it from them too.

Any information will be helpful & much appreciated.

Always purchase on a level with your highest license. While you may be working as an LVN, the state BON will hold you to the standards of the practicing RN.

I personally use NSO. I believe the other common one for nursing is Proliability.

My standard response is to read the linked article above, so you can make an informed choice as to whether to purchase your own insurance or not. If you do decide to purchase, I generally recommend NSO, who sells the CNA policy.
