Hello I'm going to start nursing school and I've read BC nurses are allowed to give uncomplicated sutures. Does anyone have any experience doing so? "Registered nurses may only suture uncomplicated skin lacerations as outlined in the British Columbia Provincial Nursing Skin and Wound Care Committee's decision support tool”.

I have never sutured or was part of my skill or allowed in ON. Also, probably depends on area of practice like outpost where no other healthcare provider is available.
