RN to BSN state schools MSN?

Hi there,

I have a couple of questions.....

I have a Bachelors in Business and now my ADN. I need to get my BSN per hospital policy. I eventually want to go on to get my Masters and I really want to keep my options open there, to go to a place like Duke where I can pursue specialties that aren't always offered elsewhere.

My question is what is a good and AFFORDABLE RN to BSN online program that is recognizable. I have heard that some in hiring positions do not care for non-recognizable schools. I have looked at Univ of Wisconsin, Western IL and Eastern IL. Are most schools $300+ a credit hour? I just wondered if anyone had found an affordable online program that also has a brick and mortar home facility.

I found in-state universities offer lower cost tuition. I earned my BSN from a college a couple hours away from my house. I also attend the same school to earn my MSN. I've never stepped foot on campus. This particular university charged around 200 bucks per credit for the BSN (at that time) and currently around 300 bucks for the MSN. I live in a low cost of living area.

When I was beginning this process I visited each university website to see what was offered, costs, and accreditation. I believe ACEN or CCNE accreditation is the way to go. Although honestly I'm not anywhere near an expert on those things.
