Does anyone know of any RN to BSN programs that look at your gpa in specific prerequisite courses only as opposed to overall college GPA?

I took a number of college courses years ago and didn't do very well. I was young and didn't take my future seriously. I have since revamped my attitude and study habits and am taking prerequisites for an ADN program. I do want to get a BSN after the RN program and was looking at programs that I would be eligible for.

Any information would be appreciated! I am doing well in the prerequisite courses for the program, but don't want my 17 year-old-self to prevent me from getting my BSN!

Thanks!

When it to comes to nursing, some schools look mainly at your sciences to compose a gpa which will determine your eligibility into the program

My rn to bsn didn't count transfer credits into my overall gpa. Only the classes I took with them were used to calculate my gpa. Every school is different and have their own policy's and procedures.

my college only counts the pre-req classes for an adjusted GPA. I was the same way at 19 - i was pregnant and didnt really think about my future, but rather my daughters. Now I am 40 and having a difficult time b/c of those classes. the thing is - even I retake those classes for higher grades my university strikes that against me. so my grade is my grade :(

Don't worry about it. There are like 600+ online RN to BSN programs. Many of them don't even ask or look at what your previous GPA was. All they care about is that you are an RN and that you can pay for the program.
