I have an associates degree in nursing from a community college in California. I was accepted at UTA for the RN-BSN AO. I was wondering, for those who are in the program now, how many General Education Courses do you have? I am looking at my degree map and I have to take 8 General ED courses. It seems like a lot. My start date is June 22nd and I am on the fence due to the amount of General ED courses. I haven't applied to other schools but are these classes common requirements in other schools?

That will be with ANY college you attend.  Those are the requirements for a bachelors degree and you won’t be able to obtain them without those courses.
