Greetings to all potential RN applicants whom may be or are indefinitely applying to RCC's RN program for Spring of 2017. Let's all join together on this thread and introduce ourselves as well as share information about stats, the program, and possibly other programs as well. Looking forward to chatting with you all. Good luck to everyone applying beginning this September!!!

Hey there! I'm not applying to rcc, I'm applying to Saddleback in orange county, I just wanted to say im getting the same thing with my thread. I apply september first and I've only got 2 people that responded to me. Last semester was full of posting for both of our programs but so far not much on my end either.
Sheesh well hopefully that means that there aren't as many people applying this time around though I highly doubt it lol
Yah it seems to get more competitive every year. I have like 600+ views on my post and nobody is saying anything to me. How are you scoring on the entrance.
I haven't taken the Teas yet. I'm scheduled to take it this September. I have been studying for the fifth version, but I will be taking the sixth version. What about you?
Oh man your going to have to study the new one if your taking the new one. Teas V is different than VI. I scored 84% but I took teasy V. My entrance admission score for Saddleback is around 85 points. I think I would be around there for rcc too.
Really? I found a website that compared the two and it seems they both are kind of similar except the teas 6 has more anatomy questions and things like that. Where did you take the teas? I'm going to take it at Loma linda
I took mine at Santa ana college, yeah from what I hear it is more a&p heavy and you can use a calculator for the math portion. If I were you I would study directly from the prep for the test you are going to take. If your taking VI study VI directly from ATI. This is a test that you need to score as high as you can on.

Hi, I'm applying in September also. I just took the TEAS V. I should be applying with 85 points.
Hello! :)
congrats! Sounds like you're in for sure! I need to score at least 90 to have an 85. I've been studying for a month!
Thanks for the tips. I would rather take teas 5 if I can. Do you think Santa Ana is still taking people for the teas? Like can I call and reserve a spot for this month?
