I would pick the program that has clinicals at places you potentially want to work. RCC has a higher pass rate than Mt. Sac, so keep that in mind as well.

Hey what kind of stethoscope were you required to purchase for the program? I know some go for the expensive Littman, but I wanted to know if the cheap one is okay?

Yes, the pass rate is a huge factor the deserves great consideration. Thanks.

Hi guys, like a few people here, I applied to more than one program, and I'm so happy that I got accepted to RCC. I was also accepted to Mt. Sac. They're both great programs and I need to make a decision. If you had to chose between the two, and distance wasn't a factor, which would you chose? I started another thread, but didn't get any replies. I apologize if this is off topic here.

The schedule sounds pretty good at Mt. Sac. My decision would be based on which is closer, has a better schedule, and is cheaper if they are both good schools. Hope that helps and good luck with your decision.

I think I'm going with Mt. Sac. RCC is closer, but I have kids and having Thurs. and Fri. off is a better schedule for me. Good luck you guys! I wish all of us success! :)

They said the earliest would be Mon., so who knows if they've actually gotten around to notifying anyone. More waiting I guess.
