Riverside City College: Spring 2017

Published

Greetings all future RN students. I just wanted to start a thread for any potential applicants who will be applying to riverside city college RN program this September for Spring 2017. Let's all get together on this thread and share experiences as well as answer questions. I know the application period is 6 months away, but it will be here before you know it!

Does anyone here have an AA or am AS degree already? If so, are you still eligible for financial aid or will you have to pay out of pocket for the RN program?

I was all set and applied and J___e told me I would be invited based on my app and I randomly got a lvn bridge email afterwards not a regular confirmation and wasn't invited to take the teas. Called and was told I should look elsewhere to take but no one was administering two weeks prior :/

sucks when one person says one thing and another something else. I could've been told book a date just in case your not.

Why wouldn't you be eligible I have an aa but I can't get it for other reasons. I however can still get the bog waiver

I applied for Fall 2016 graduation at valley and crafton hills college. Will graduate with two AS degrees and one AA. My counselor asked me if I intended to take more classes at valley or crafton and I said yes. She said that I would not receive financial aid if I have an associates. I will make an appointment with an FA counselor.

Contact The SON and see if there are any spaces open for the teas at RCC

Loma linda gives the teas a couple of days a week every week

Then I'm sol I will hopefully get the bog waiver though that's better than nothing

It's November guys! December is right around the corner! Phew! I'm so anxious!!! Good luck to you all!

I just took the teas and got what I needed yay

I took the TEAS today and got 88% overall. If all of my classes are accepted, I should have 76 pts. Hoping that's enough to get me in! This has been a stressful process.

They don't do the points like that It would be 70 or 75 or 80
