Hi there!

Welcome to the Forum for Prospective Nursing students starting in Spring of 2020.

The application period (subject to change and directly from RCC website) opens from the First Business day in September- the First Business day in October to apply for Spring.

Also, Please let me know if creating a Facebook group would be more streamlined.

Feel free to share questions, comments, concerns!

They have to let the CEP know sooner than the traditional ADN because they still have to apply to the Cal State system. Fall applies to CSUF and Spring applies to CSUSB. I got accepted to the CEP program for fall 2019 but because of a family matter i was granted a deferral so i will begin in the spring. The first semester you take two classes NRN 11/11A and a 3 unit class through the cal state so we have to be registered. I heard that they had a lot more applicants this semester for the CEP program than they did last semester. After we got our acceptance letters they gave us a week to accept or decline. Then we had to get background check, immunizations records, and apply to the cal state system the following week

We’ve been told “ by the end of the week” a couple of times. I am not actually expecting anything from Steve this week....even though my deceased grandma came in my dream and told me that, “Good news are coming to you this week.”

Seriously guys. Look at the Spring 2018 and Fall 2019 message boards. They were all notified in December (Spring) or June (Fall). I’d love for us to know by this week and hopefully we will. But logic says it will be similar to those previous semesters.

True, but they also moved up the application dates by a month or so. Before I believe application periods opened up in October for Spring. Now its August! It makes sense if the ADN program needed to wait until December but I think CEP may know sooner.

I got accepted Fall 19 for CEP program and I got my acceptance email March 19.
