So, My friend just talked to S, and he told her that we should be hearing back around the end of the Month. J is still there, not on maternity leave. Lets breathe now! I am still waiting to hear back on my safety schools and that is adding on some major anxiety

Ohhhh, maybe she postponed it. 2 of my clinical instructors at RCC said last week she was leaving as of that day which was Tuesday. Alright, well it's still nerve wracking because from what I understand, is that they require a confirmation by end of day upon recieving acceptance email.

End of the month? THE END OF THE MONTH?!?!?! Why couldn't you just start the process right after the cutoff for the submission for applications?!?! UGH.

Well there was the whole TEAS exam that the applicants had to do which weren’t completed until 9/17 ?They also have close to 1000 applicants that they have to process, verify transcripts and calculate points for, etc. Depending on how many people they have that could take a good amount of time. That’s probably not their only job also.

When Mr. ***** spoke at our NXN 84 class last Wednesday (10/9)he said that he will be notifying the CEP candidates first, something to do with needing to coordinate with CSUSB, that he was hoping to get those candidates notified in by the end of the month before tackling the rest of the ADN candidates.

Thanks for the info! Did Mr.**** say anything else regarding cep? Like how many people applied this time or anything else?

To be honest, I don't remember...I think they did mention that for Fall 2019 there had been 200 or so applicants for the CEP, but didn't mention the number for Spring 2020.

What do you guys do? Anybody going to be new to the medical field like me, a warehouse worker?

Career changer here. I've been working in marketing for almost five years. I hate the 9-5 grind for so little pay that I decided the nursing (maybe doctor) journey two years ago. May I regret it in the future? Possibly. Too many people I know say they absolutely hate the role of being a nurse. But that money and that schedule will absolutely beat my sorry af dead end job that I have right now.
