Hi- I recently was accepted to RIC's nursing program. I was wondering if there were any graduates out there or current students that could give me their opinion of the program.

Hi Carin:

I am a student at RIC as well and should be graduating in December.

Since I don't have anything to compare it to, I would say that the nursing program at RIC is fine. I think that you will get out of it what you put into it, as would apply to any nursing program or otherwise that you were enrolled in. They say that the CCRI students get more clinical than we do, but when you are in your junior year if you do a student internship at a hospital, that should make up for that.

There is a ton of paperwork (be sure to get down APA format), but if you stay focused, study, and keep yourself motivated, you will learn a great deal.

Good luck!
