So I just finished LPN school in NC and I take my NCLEX October 14 . I have a resume ready and have started applying places but I don't think it will do me any good since when you apply at a hospital it asks you questions if you have your license and such. Does my resume even get reviewed or should I just wait for my license to start applying?
How should I word my resume " License pending Nclex 10/14/14"?
Should I wait before I apply places?
I have 3 years experience working as a medical assistant, bilingual and just ready to work.
Any suggestions? Thoughts? ideas ? comments?
Help !

I graduated at the end of Aug, took my NCLEX on Monday and passed. I was going to apply for jobs beforehand but then thought the same thing. I was going to word my resume to say "licence pending NCELX: scheduled 9/22/2012." But I decided instead to take the time to study and relax at home. I started applying for jobs today and really I liked the time off. But if you really have to get a jump start on it, I don't see what it would hurt to apply then update it after you get your license number.

Hi. I graduated in july of 2013 from my LPN/RNA PROGRAM. If you want a job in the hospital, you need an inside reference ( stage instructor or teachers) and an outside reference ( someone in management that you have worked for) give all necessary info. be honest about everything because they will screen you. Later, you will be granted an interview. Be positive and confident. Your on your way. Congrats:up:
