Resubmission of RNs profile for a travel position

I know that it is not a good idea to have your file submitted to a facility twice from different agencies for a trvel nursing position.So, how long is the wait to have your file be submitted again by another agency? What is the waiting period?Just wondering. Thank you.

There is no exact waiting period for resubmission of a profile to same facility by different agency. If facility should call for interview, you must clarify which agency you currently work with.

No waiting period other than it is a new job order. In other words, you are not trying to get the same assignment that an agency submitted you to and you now want to switch.

There are some complicating factors here though. If you were originally submitted by an agency who is also a vendor manager, they may not allow you to be submitted by subcontracting agencies at hospitals where they operate (all of their contracted hospitals, not just the one where they submitted you). That is a real drag, and one of the reasons I suggest not working for such agencies. Important vendor managers who also operate agencies include Cross Country, American Mobile, and Healthtrust (formerly named Parallon and All About Staffing - and owned by HCA). More often than not, you can get better pay rates from non-vendor manager agencies, even at managed facilities.
