I've posted many times in this forum reference my mission to switch from Reserves to Active Army. I'm just curious if there are any other officers out there that have done the same thing and if so I would like to know how the process went for you. This has been a very long process and any assistance would greatly be appreciated. I was selected at the Nov '10 boards while in BOLC. Now I'm just waiting for my first duty assignment. EVERYTHING has been a challenge to get achieved and I've once again hit another brick wall. Sooooo, just wondering if I'm just unlucky or if this is the painful process bestowed upon others!! Thanks!!

Hey LT
Sorry I haven't been as active on the forum as before. I am attempting to finish up my Masters in Nursing Education and prepare for another deployment! (what ever happened to the 2 year dwell time? Sigh......)
I actually went through the process of transitioning from RC to AC. The process wasn't all that difficult, they have your RC packet. Of course you'll need to submit new paperwork = new references, stuff like that.
If you have any specific questions PM me.....I hope that you are doing okay. Congratulations on advancing through the maze thus far

I had my paperwork (DD 368) sent to the wrong person twice by two different people, had to get the IG involved, MEPS and a new application again, finally get my contract signed and it didn't get sent, and the assignments person is TDY for two weeks. Waiting till Monday and I'll start calling like crazy. My wife separates from the AF this summer, sold our house and have the packers coming in a week (on the AF dime) but have no place to send it. I feel your pain...
