Requirements to get a Student Visa in Us for a India graduate

Hey,My name is Jibin John. I would like to know 1 thing. I am a graduated nurse from india and if i came to US in a student visa, am i eligible to get a green card in the future or should i forced to go back to india after the course completes. And in order to get the student visa, do i need to pass nclex or cgfns exam.? What all are the educational and professional requirements to get a student visa.?

What are you planning on studying as a Student? You will still need to find employer willing to go the immigrant visa route and depending on category will depend on how long it will take, EB1 is current otherwise you have a wait between 7-12 years. This could mean returning home whilst waiting.

If planning on working whilst on a student visa the first year there are restrictions after that if wanting to work as RN then you will have to meet state requirements and pass NCLEX

Look at the yellow banner at the top of the page click on U.S., then click on Pennsylvania Nursing, you will see threads with names of various universities such as; Drexel, Gwyned, Villanova etc
